Tom Streissguth.

An editor, teacher, web designer, and book author, Tom Streissguth has written more than one hundred books for young readers, covering subjects such as history, geography, current events, and media. The first novella in his ten-part fiction series, Heroes in the Dark, was published in April, 2026.

In 2017 he founded The Archive of American Journalism to publish the little-known, hard-to-find writings of major American writers such as H.L. Mencken, Nellie Bly, Stephen Crane, and Ray Stannard Baker. More than ten thousand of these pieces are now available on the company’s website, and ten books of articles have been published under The Archive imprint.
